Terms & Conditions of Trade — Brighouse Drainage
1. Services Provided
Brighouse Drainage agrees to carry out drainage works as specified in written quotes or work orders.
2. Quotations & Estimates
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Variations to scope may incur additional charges.
3. Pricing & Payment

Payment is due in full within 7 days of invoice unless prior arrangement.

Late payments may incur interest charges of 2% per month.

All materials remain the property of Brighouse Drainage until full payment is received.
4. Variations
Any changes to scope will be discussed and confirmed in writing before work proceeds.
5. Access & Site Conditions
Client agrees to provide clear site access. Additional costs may apply if access delays or safety issues occur.
6. Health & Safety
Brighouse Drainage operates in compliance with the NZ Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.
7. Warranties & Liability
We warrant workmanship for 12 months unless otherwise specified. Our liability is limited to the value of services provided. We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses.
8. Council Consents
Where applicable, the client is responsible for council consents and compliance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by New Zealand law.
